Dr. Seuss

Seuss Week

Seuss Week is a week-long celebration in the Lower School of all the wonderful books written by Dr. Seuss. We kick-off our week with Seuss Readers who visit the classes to share great books by Dr. Seuss and other awesome authors! Each day we have a daily theme that connects with a book written by Dr. Seuss and LS faculty and students can be seen sporting fun accessories to the uniforms that match the theme of the day. The library is filled with fun activities and each day something new and exciting is on the schedule for classes to come and enjoy. Plus, Seuss celebrations can be found in classrooms throughout the week as different teachers incorporate Seuss-related lessons into their curriculum. Finally, the "Daily Dose of Dr. Seuss" is a favorite activity, with fun facts about Dr. Seuss and the books he wrote shared over the morning announcements each day. You'll find pictures of our Seuss Week fun in the Photo Gallery.
